These pages describe how the site manages and processes personal data of users who use the site. This information provided pursuant to art. 13 of Italian Leg. Decree 196/2003 (code protecting personal data) refers to those who interact with the BTS Biogas Srl/GmbH company web services, which can be accessed online at: www.bts-biogas.com.

This information is drawn from Community Directive no. 2/2001 that the European authorities for the protection of personal data, assembled in the Group established by Art. 29 of directive no. 95/46/CE, adopted on 17 May 2001 to establish the minimum requirements for gathering personal data online and, in particular, the methods, timing and nature of the information that the data controllers must provide to users when they visit web pages, independent of the purpose of the visit.

When visiting this site, data on identified or identifiable persons may be processed: the data controller is the BTS Biogas Srl/GmbH company, with offices in Brunico, Via S. Lorenzo 34. The company's data processor is Mr. Michael Niederbacher.


Place of data processing

The processing operations related to the web services of this website take place at the offices of this company and are managed only by authorised personnel or by persons assigned to perform occasional maintenance operations. No data acquired through the web service is circulated. Moreover, personal data provided by users via email is used only to perform the requested service or operation.

    This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on site usage and to check the site's correct operation.

    The data may be used to assess responsibility in case of hypothetical computer crimes against the site.

  2. Data provided voluntarily by the user
    The optional, explicit and voluntary sending of electronic mail to the addresses shown on this website results in the acquisition of the sender's address, needed in order to respond to requests, as well as any other personal data included in the message.

    When it is not provided, even partially, it may be impossible to fulfil the request.



Cookies

No personal data of users, in this respect, is acquired by the website. We do not use persistent cookies of any kind, nor systems for tracking users.

Computer “session” cookies (which are not persistently stored on the user's computer, as they are deleted when the browser is closed) are used to avoid using other computer technologies that are potentially prejudicial to the privacy of users' navigation and do not allow the acquisition of the user's personal identification data.


Online gathering of personal data - Optional provision of data

In relation to data gathered directly from the website, it should be noted that the essential processing information thus obtained is provided in the gathering context (e.g. at the end of each registration form), while the website page containing the privacy disclosure in a more articulate form can always be accessed.

The provision of requested data is optional, but may be strictly necessary in order to use the services offered by BTS Biogas Srl/GmbH.

Therefore, when it is not provided it may be impossible to fulfil the request.

Data processing method

Personal data is processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was gathered. Specific safety measures are followed in order to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorised access.


Rights of the interested parties

This is, lastly, to inform users that Italiian Leg. Decree n. 16/03 confers to the interested party the right to exercise specific rights. In particular, the interested party can require confirmation from the controller of whether personal data exists or not, and can require that such data be sent to the interested party in a comprehensible form. 

The interested party also has the right to obtain information on the origin of the personal data, the processing purposes and methods, the logic applied in case of processing performed with the help of electronic instruments, the identity of the controller and processor as well as the persons or categories of persons to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may come to know of such data.

The interested party also has the right to obtain the updating, the correction or, if there is a request, integration of the data, the deletion, the transformation to an anonymous form or the blocking of data processed in violation of the rules, as well as a statement that such operations were brought to the knowledge to those whom the data was communicated or sent.

The interested party, lastly, for legitimate reasons has the right to oppose the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or for market research or for commercial communication.
